An initial appraisal of interactions between academia and industry in Egypt was conducted, followed by an overview of selected innovation intermediaries. It was followed by interviews with selected innovation intermediaries\u2019 representatives to generate some of the patterns and intensity of interactions within the Egyptian ecosystem. The workshop with TICs and TICOs opened the discussion on the role of both in the Egyptian industry and innovation ecosystem.
