{"id":4529,"date":"2021-09-17T14:22:23","date_gmt":"2021-09-17T14:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anteja-ecg.com\/portfolio-items\/development-of-national-clustering-policy-in-turkey\/"},"modified":"2021-09-17T14:22:23","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T14:22:23","slug":"development-of-national-clustering-policy-in-turkey","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/anteja-ecg.com\/de\/portfolio-items\/development-of-national-clustering-policy-in-turkey\/","title":{"rendered":"Developing national cluster policy and sustainability in Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setting up a comprehensive clusters&#8216; policy to contribute to achieving a sustainable economic, social and environmental development in Turkey.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This\u00a0 project was designed to set up a comprehensive Clusters\u2019 policy to contribute to achieving a sustainable economic, social and environmental development in Turkey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Development of the Clustering Policy Project was launched to form a base for the national clusters\u2019 policy by supporting the competitive sectors in the\u00a0 country and to contribute to the development of a competitive structure in order to ensure a sustainable increase in export rates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Services provided:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">competitiveness assessment of selected clusters, mapping of clusters, value chains, and relationships between stakeholders<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sector and sub-sector studies (growth potential, opportunities for FDI)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">analysis of the business environment, existing programs, initiatives<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">policy design, strategy development and elaboration of initiatives aiming at improving competitiveness institutional strengthening (training courses and on-the-job training)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">organization and implementation of study visits\u00a0 and promotion missions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">analysis of existing support mechanisms, policy tools and instruments and the design of new tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">analysis of institutions and recommend structural changes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">designing and conducting stakeholder analysis, training needs assessment, developing the curriculum and delivering training<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">evaluation of pilot clusters<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">direct assistance to SMEs and institutions on developing cluster road maps<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project was financed by the EU funds with a budget of 6 Million Euros within the scope of the EU Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Client: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/index_en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">European Commission<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Date: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2007 &#8211; 2009<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Setting up a comprehensive clusters&#8216; policy to contribute to achieving a sustainable economic, social and environmental development in Turkey.
