A thriving year: Celebrating our achievements in 2021<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n

2021 was a thriving and a very successful year for Anteja. As we look back, we\u2019re proud of the incredible growth of our company despite the pandemic. We\u2019re fortunate to be considered for the\u00a0Oracle\u2019s Gaia Award for Innovation in Sustainability<\/a>\u00a0and honoured to participate in several\u00a0World Bank Group<\/a>\u00a0consultancy projects,\u00a0GIZ<\/a>\u00a0initiatives and\u00a0EU Interreg programmes<\/a>, which recognise our hard work and enable us to continue our journey towards sustainability.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re already excited for our new challenges in 2022, but let\u2019s first review this year\u2019s achievements:<\/p>\n

3 new sustainability partnerships<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Forming partnerships is an important step towards making value chains more sustainable and transparent, as it allows us to cover a wider range of areas where solutions are needed.<\/p>\n

This year we have significantly expanded our ecosystem and we\u2019re extremely proud to partner with\u00a0ProFound<\/a>,\u00a0Oracle<\/a>,\u00a0AmCham Slovenia<\/a>\u00a0and others.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, we\u2019re grateful for continuous collaboration and support from our longer-term partners\u00a0VDI\/VDE-IT<\/a>,\u00a0Arhea<\/a>, Aconto,\u00a0Sunesis<\/a>,\u00a0HiGroup<\/a>,\u00a0Abelium<\/a> and others. Together, we will continue developing disruptive consultancy solutions and technologies to enhance transparency and sustainability in value chains.<\/p>\n

Digital transformation of our business<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anteja has always been aware of the importance of digitalisation. Recently, we have implemented e-business across all our activities, which optimises our business processes and makes our internal administration processes more efficient.<\/p>\n

Technology development<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This year we continued developing our existing digital transparency solutions and worked on new ones. While\u00a0INATrace\u00a0<\/strong>continues digitalising Rwandan coffee value chains,\u00a0phy2app<\/strong>\u00a0keeps on gaining new clients in the East African market and reaching investment readiness. In November 2021,\u00a0phy2app<\/a>\u00a0was honoured with\u00a0Startup Africa Roadtrip<\/a>\u2019s overall\u00a03rd place of most promising agritech solutions<\/strong>\u00a0among over 300 East African startups. In 2022, we will continue this journey and present our phy2app to Italian investors.<\/p>\n

Establishment of 3 clusters in Uganda<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cluster development is one of Anteja\u2019s key activities. This year, we supported the establishment of 3 clusters in Uganda:\u00a0Moringa Cluster Uganda<\/a>, Fruit Juice Cluster Uganda and Natural Cosmetics Cluster Uganda.<\/p>\n

Inauguration of Anteja\u2019s research group<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In October we inaugurated the\u00a0<\/strong>Anteja\u2019s Research Group, led by Dr. Maja Berden Zrimec. As we study the fields of sustainability and value chains transparency, we will continuously publish reports and provide you with our latest findings.
